Printed Lace and Boyfriends

Not talkin' about the male human type, the cuffed jeans and comfy sweater type!

And this jacket is actually a sweater with a notched collar and style lines. It almost looks like a blazer, but it's more flattering without being fitted and much easier to move around in. The lacey look and the hoop earrings add a touch of femininity.

I was wondering, do boyfriend jeans have an equivalent skirt? A boyfriend skirt- that just sounds weird, but you know what I mean. What sort of skirt can work in any sort of situation that a ultra-relaxed, worn-in, cuffed-at-just-the-right-length pair of  jeans does? If you were going to wear a skirt, what would you pair with this top and sweater?

And I'm so excited for this:

Ashley at Bramblewood Fashion is hosting a week-long fashion event based on a different era or genre every day. I've never seen most of the movies and shows she'll be referencing, but she says she hasn't seen all of them either; we can still look at the images and get inspiration from the fabulous TV and movie set wardrobes. Who else wants to join? It's gonna be fun!

  5. Hey! thanks for your comment on my blog! :-)

I love your top. I wonder how it would look to diy a top like that with lace and a stencil and glitter or spray paint... Hmmm now you've got my brain working.

    1. Yeah, I thought the same thing, but I'm too lazy to do it myself. It would make a good blog post if you do!
